All My Blog Posts In One Place
(And it’s not this place.)
If you’re one of my 178,000 readers here on medium.com, I invite you to join me for a last hurrah before I migrate my articles from this hallowed platform to my newsletter and I offer you something in what might be our mutual love language: a spreadsheet!
In it, you’ll find a link to every single medium.com blog post I’ve ever published, along with its Friend Link.
Friend Links let you bypass Medium’s paywall and jump straight into my blog posts. They’re also the links you can use to share my writing with your network while it’s still on Medium, though what I’d really love for you to share is a gentle prod towards signing up to this newsletter instead (decision.substack.com), since that’s where my writing will live going forward.
As I migrate my 220+ articles, I’ll be refreshing them for the GenAI era. I’m pleased that many of them won’t need more than a light touch up since they’re more about leadership and clarity than they are about AI and data. I’ve always been more fascinated by what technology means for us and how we lead with it than by the difference between versions 3.6 and 3.7 of the latest mayfly.
My writing has always been about us humans — especially those of us who step up to lead in some way big or small — and we don’t change all that quickly. That’s why one of the best compliments you can give my writing is that it’s still as fresh 5 years later as it was the day I wrote it. (My favorite compliment, though, is that you find it useful AND funny. I live for your involuntary chortles.)
But since our future will see us inundated by ever more technology, not less, I believe we have to understand at least a little something about that technology to understand ourselves, to lead our organizations, and to make the smartest choices amid the chaos. That’s why I love demystifying these things for you. So you can steer better in a future where the pace of change and complexification is accelerating.
I’ll begin the blog migration slowly and gently, so they’ll disappear from Medium gradually, but the magic thing about my magic link spreadsheet is that the links in there are Bitly links. This means that when I move one, I can simply redirect the link to each article’s new location without a hitch. And inside each article are crosslinks to terms I’ve defined elsewhere… all redirectable as well. So this magic spreadsheet will serve you long past the migration. Enjoy!
Thank you for reading and pretty please consider joining my newsletter: decision.substack.com
P.S. I’ll also be migrating my videos. For example this one introduces you to deep learning and neural networks.
As with much of my content, it was designed to last, so the content is still fresh (though that haircut is a distant relic) and as useful to today’s curious crowd as it was back in those days. Take a look and let me know if you agree.
